It was approximately 1,355 days ago that Joe Biden took office. It was also approximately 1,355 days ago since America had a president who wasn’t mentally impaired. Joe Biden has been in politics for over 50 years. However, like all good things, they must one day end. The end has indeed come for Joe Biden, ever since he was overthrown by his party's elites and announced 78 days ago he wasn’t going run for reelection. It’s a tragic ending for America's most tragic president. A fitting ending for Joe I must say. So in honor of him and his presidency, I figured we could stroll down memory lane and see what exactly Joe Biden has left America with to remember him by. These are Joe Biden's greatest hits. Enjoy.
The story of Joe Biden’s historic presidency begins in a conflict that has existed for over 20 years. That is the Afghanistan War. This conflict began shortly after the events of 9/11 under the Bush administration. This is a very complex war with many dimensions. The goal of the war was to prevent Afghanistan from being a safe haven for terrorism. Joe Biden became the fourth president to be involved with the handling of Afghanistan and let’s just say out of the four, Biden was the least competent one. Biden announced in 2021 a withdrawal with a deadline of August 31st. This had something to do with the fact that Biden liked the optics of heading the withdrawal before September 11th. Instead of doing what was best for the military and the Afghan Allies, Joe Biden couldn’t pass on a great storyline. It’s safe to say this plan blew up in Biden’s face miserably. With a lack of planning and foresight, chaos ensued. The Taliban went on the offensive and the Afghan government crumbled quickly. Within days Kabul, the capital, had collapsed causing panic and urgency. Yet the worst was to come. On August 26th as thousands of people attempted to flee at Hamid Karzai International Airport, a suicide bomber attacked Abbey Gate killing 13 US service members and 170 Afghan civilians. Even to this day, Biden has the audacity and arrogance to claim that no service members died under his watch. 13 families lost loved ones due to Biden’s incompetence and lack of planning. Even to this day the exact number of allies and US civilians that were left behind in Afghanistan is unknown, at least unknown to the public. This withdrawal was a disgrace to our country and a slap in the face to all US service members. To top it all off the US military was estimated to have left behind some $7 billion dollars of military equipment in Afghanistan that has fallen into the hands of the Taliban. This war started to prevent Afghanistan from being a safe haven for terrorism, yet Joe Biden ended by giving the terrorists $7 billion dollars in equipment. Good thinking Joe. We will end with this quote from Robert Gates, former Secretary of Defense, “Joe Biden has never gotten a single foreign policy issue right.” Well said Robert, well said.
Moving on with this story, Joe Biden decided to tackle the issue of migration as all great presidents do. Let’s just say our friend Biden is something of a contrarian. Biden didn’t want to do things the way his opponent Trump did. He had to be different, he had to be better. Biden decided his first action would be to repeal most of Trump’s border policies immediately. He ended “Remain in Mexico”, terminated the building of the border wall, revoked most travel bans for migrants, and reduced the public charge rule. Please take the time to search each of these Trump policies on your own time. Shortly after these changes, America experienced a peaceful process of migration, and illegal crossing was at a historic all-time low. Wait, that doesn’t sound right…My apologies. I was looking at the wrong source here, that was from CNN. What happened was that there was an all-time high of illegal crossing, violence, and a drug epidemic like America has never before seen. You see it turns out all of those Trump policies were there for a reason. Since Biden took office America has experienced over 10 million illegal migrants and an additional 2 million “known” gotaways. That number doesn't even include the number of unknown people who got away. To put this in perspective the amount of illegal immigrants is nearly equal to the entire population of New Jersey and Virginia combined. It gets worse, not only did Joe Biden allow these illegal immigrants to enter the country but he also allocated funds from US taxpayers to house and feed them. FEMA granted $800 million dollars for migrants in 2023 alone. This doesn’t even include the other billions of dollars spent to house and feed migrants. That would be bad enough, however, the worst part might be that because of this surge of illegal crossings drug cartels have been able to operate with impunity. Taking advantage of these crossing and lax border policies, cartels have smuggled in hundreds of thousands of pounds of fentanyl since Biden took office. In 2022 alone authorities seized over 50,000 pounds of fentanyl, this would be enough to kill millions of Americans from overdose. Due to Biden’s cold-hearted approach to the border and the drug epidemic, in 2022, 110,000 overdose deaths were recorded. Joe Biden has more empathy for illegal immigrants than he does for Americans. Probably since he thought these migrants would be easy votes to add to his political ambitions. This doesn’t even include the economic ramifications and effects that mass illegal migration has on America and much more. It’s safe to say, “If you want something done wrong, just ask Joe Biden”.
I know what you’re probably thinking at this point, can this Joe Biden guy do anything right? The short answer is no he can’t. Under the Trump administration between 2017 and 2020, the US economy experienced record growth. US GDP peaked at 3% and had an average of 2.5%. Trump had major tax cuts and deregulation of many corporate businesses and encouraged investments. However, obviously, for most Americans, all those fancy terms mean nothing. So let me make this as practical as possible. Gas prices, something that affects every American under Trump, hovered around $2.60 a gallon. The prices dropped as low as $2.30 a gallon, Trump did this by increasing US oil production. Milk prices had an average cost of $3.32 a gallon and a dozen eggs had an average price of $1.40. Last but not least mortgage rates for homeowners averaged around 4 to 5 percent during the Trump presidency. They even got to a historic low of 2.68% by the end of 2020. This information is going to just put into perspective the horrendous numbers I’m about to share with you from Joe’s “Bidenomics.” Under the Biden administration inflation hit a 40-year high of 9.1% causing everyday prices to skyrocket. Of course, Biden claimed that this was simply “transitory” from the pandemic wrecking the economy. We soon found that inflation was here to stay and that Biden was simply incompetent. A lot of this was because Biden couldn’t help but burn a hole in America's pocket. Joe Biden has outspent Trump, spending 4.8 trillion dollars so far. So with inflation at an all-time high Biden decided to tackle this head-on with the “Inflation Reduction Act.” The only problem is that this $51 billion dollar plan had nothing to do with inflation. This Trojan horse was a climate initiative that was passed to combat “climate change” and create clean energy. This act did nothing to help the struggling Americans who were being crushed under the weight of 9.1% inflation. Let’s get practical again, gas prices under Joe Biden hit a record high of $5 dollars a gallon in 2022. Milk increased to $4 dollars a gallon and a dozen eggs surged to $4.25. Mortgage rates under Biden have climbed to 6.5% reaching levels not seen in over a decade, making home ownership virtually impossible for most Americans. These rates climbed as a direct result of rising inflation, Biden’s government spending, and Biden’s Keynesian economic policies. On top of this, real wages under Joe Biden are down 2.3% from when he took office. This means that although prices of everyday goods increased, American's earnings and overall income haven’t gone up to compensate for inflation. With all of this put into perspective it’s safe to say that no matter how many times Joe Biden whispers into microphones that Bidenomics is “working” it will always be remembered as an utter disaster.
Last but not least, old Joe has made the world a much more dangerous place. Remember that quote by Robert Gates earlier? Turns out that it was an understatement. At the start of Biden’s presidency, there was a clear conflict brewing in Europe. Russia had begun to build a strong military presence on the border of Ukraine. Putin was showing his territorial ambitions and was making it very clear he wanted war with Ukraine. Putin began to flex his muscles, and in response, Biden instead of flexing his muscles back, proceeded to eat ice cream and take a nap. No precautionary measures were taken, and no military aid or sanctions were made against Russia to show that Biden was serious. Biden then held a press conference where he suggested that the US wouldn’t be against a minor incursion into Ukraine from Russia. Biden said: “It’s one thing if it’s a minor incursion and then we end up having a fight about what to do and not to do”. Well, it’s safe to say that Biden failed at his job of deterrence. In February of 2022, Russia launched a full-scale invasion of Ukraine. Almost 3 years later roughly 500,000 soldiers were killed or wounded on both sides. This doesn’t include the nearly 30,000 civilian casualties. Under the Trump administration, 4 years and no new wars had begun. Biden failed to practice peace through strength, he approached this issue with a weak unclear tone. Putin smelt the weakness and sought to take advantage of it when he could. All of this could have been prevented with a strong president making the boundaries clear. The next conflict that Biden’s spineless foreign policy led to was the Israel-Hamas conflict. In October the terrorist organization Hamas launched an assault on Israel murdering over 1200 Israelis and taking hundreds of hostages. It was the deadliest single attack on Israel and the worst attack on Jews since the Holocaust. When Biden took office, he reversed Trump-era policies resuming aid to Palestine and failing to impose sanctions on Iran. This weak stance on Iran and its terror network, including Hamas, allowed them to invest in their vast terror infrastructure. In 2023, the Biden administration facilitated the release of $6 billion of Iranian funds that had been frozen in South Korean banks due to US sanctions in exchange for 5 American hostages. There is a reason there was a phrase “Don’t negotiate with terrorists.” If every time the Iranians take Americans hostage they get $6 billion dollars, of course, they’re gonna keep doing it. This along with many other weak foreign policies in regards to Iran and their terror proxies led to October 7th. Not only did Biden not do anything to prevent Iran from growing its terror network, it actively sought to hinder Israel from responding to Iran’s threats. First and foremost Biden sought to delay aid by putting pressure on Israel to not go on the “offensive” but only to defend itself. However, the point needs to be made and has been made that if the United States was attacked directly it would not only be on the “defensive.” Take 9/11 for example, if the United States simply took a defensive position it wouldn’t eliminate the threat at hand and we might have had another 9/11 incident. Biden actively and openly criticized Israel for seeking to destroy Hamas and their terror network. Biden accused Israel of “Rage” and being careless in their strategies. Yet they forget to provide the context, Hamas and many terrorist networks use civilians as human shields to protect themselves. For example, Hamas has been known to use hospitals and schools for storing weapons and as meeting places for their operations. Not only did Biden hinder Israel with his words but he also prolonged this war by funding Hamas operations. Biden brokered and pushed for millions of dollars in “humanitarian aid” to be distributed in Gaza. The only problem with this is that none of the aid goes to the actual civilians. Hamas terrorists steal this aid and use it for their own needs. Even with this Biden still pushed for aid and pressured Israel to slow their progress of eliminating Hamas. It got so bad that Prime Minister Netanyahu has begun to leave US officials in the dark to make true progress in Israel’s protection. Israel has openly said they will finish this war with or without American support. Now the question is why? Why hinder Israel and follow false narratives of genocide? Well just like all pathetic politicians Biden was only interested in himself. Due to Biden’s relaxed immigration policies, millions of Muslim and Iranian surrogates have been pumped into our country. Due to this, Biden sought to please this radical wing to win their vote. Instead of doing what was best in the interest of our allies, Biden was only seeking his self-interest, like always. Of course, Biden didn’t anticipate being thrown off the wagon by his party, but that still doesn’t change the fact that he put his interests above that of America and our allies.
So to summarize, in four years Biden oversaw one of the worst military operations that led to the death of 13 US service members, managed to allow two wars, crippled the American economy, opened the southern border, allowed millions of illegal immigrants in, and allowed the cartels to poison hundreds of thousands of Americans. So it’s safe to say that Joe Biden is a very decorated president, decorated with disasters. So in honor of our 46th president, cheers to him and all his failures and I think it’ll be great for America for him to retire. However, if you enjoyed all of Biden’s accomplishments there is an opportunity for part 2. Kamala Harris pulled the rug out from under Joe Biden and stole the nomination from him. Yet, she has no new ideas. She was the vice president for the past 4 years and was right there with Biden every step of the way. She assumes just as much responsibility for these disasters as Joe. She will be just as bad for America as Biden, if not even worse. I will end this with this quote from the beloved Barack Obama, “We do not need four more years of bluster and bumbling and chaos, we’ve seen this movie before, and we all know the sequel is usually worse.”
